Features

Avery Ranch is a master-planned community that started development in the early 2000s. Located between the towns of Cedar Park to the west and Round Rock to the east, it is in the far northwest area of Austin, but still convenient to local highways and the high-tech employment center of north Austin.

The neighborhood offers many amenities including five community centers encompassing 17 acres. The main one has a basketball court, sand volleyball, tennis courts, and a 25-meter swimming pool. There is also an outdoor amphitheater. Other amenities include a lap pool, children's beach pool, tanning pool, and spa.

For those who enjoy hiking or biking there are 8.5 miles of trails connecting Cedar Park and Round Rock. Avery Ranch even has its own neighborhood lake and there are other lakes in the area.

Located in the neighborhood is the 18-hole, 226 acre Avery Ranch Golf Club, one of the premiere golf courses in Austin. This public course was top rated by Avid Golfer magazine for golf conditions, innovative design, dining area, and clubhouse.

The region where Avery Ranch was built is rich in Texas history. Nineteenth Century bandits, nomadic Indian tribes, and cowboys have all been through the area. Indian arrowheads and stone markings from various tribes can still be found in the area. Remnants of a fort built by the Spanish who occupied the area in the 1800s still exist today.
