Summary

Senna Hills is a high-end neighborhood set in the Texas hill country with lots of amenities. It is close to Bee Cave Rd. and Hwy. 71, two major thoroughfares in west Austin, and about 15 miles from downtown. The area has abundant green space and many homes have splendid hill country views.

Residents have access to many amenities within the neighborhood including tennis courts, a pool, and a playscape. There are also walking and jogging trails winding through the area. Nearby is a golf course, and a few miles away are two major shopping centers. The neighborhood is also in a top-rated school district.

Features

Senna Hills is a quiet, affluent neighborhood just off Bee Cave Rd., a major local road in west Austin. Development began in the mid-1990s and new construction is still ongoing. The area is in the Texas hill country and residents enjoy hill country views and lots of green space.

There are about 350 single-family homes in the neighborhood. Many have large lots, and are designed to make the most of the scenic location with decks and patios, enlarged windows, as well as high ceilings, oversized kitchens, and decorated fireplaces.

Residents have access to amenities for all ages. The local amenities center includes a community center, swimming and wading pools, tennis and basketball courts, BBQ grills, playscape, and picnic tables. Walking trails also provide opportunities to enjoy the scenery. A few miles away is a golf center with four courses, named the #1 golf resort in Texas by Golf World magazine.

A few minutes' drive down Bee Cave Rd. is the Hill Country Galleria, with upscale shopping and dining. Ten minutes' drive away is the Barton Creek Square Mall, Austin's largest shopping mall with a movie theater, food court, and over 180 stores and shops. There are also other restaurants and businesses in the area.

Senna Hills is in the highly-rated Eanes school district, whose acclaimed schools are known for outstanding curriculum and extracurricular activities. There are also outstanding private schools in the area.

Development of Senna Hills began in 1994 and completed in 2001. An expansion phase started in 2006 and completed in mid-2012.

The subdivision includes about 350 single-family homes, many of which are situated on large lots and put a focus on the outdoors, with features like wooden decks and patios and stonewalled entryways. Inside, many homes feature expansive kitchens, decorated fireplaces, oversized windows, and vaulted ceilings.

Home sizes range from 1,800 to 5,900 square feet and prices from $300K to $800K.

Residents are required to join the Senna Hills Owner's Association at annual fee of $840. The cost covers community maintenance and annual events for residents.
